Founded in 2010 by Scott Eckley, Apollo Health Insurance set out to redefine the health insurance industry by prioritizing exceptional service and delivering innovative solutions. Scott’s vision extended beyond building a trusted brokerage—he aimed to create a company agile enough to adapt to the ever-changing needs of its clients. In 2015, his son, Luke Eckley, joined the organization, bringing fresh insight and accelerating Apollo’s growth trajectory. On August 9, 2022, his other son, Mark Gilmore, joined Apollo as Chief Operating Officer, further strengthening the company’s leadership team. Originally based in Kansas City, Apollo has since grown into a nationally recognized leader in the health insurance sector.
A pivotal milestone came in 2019 when Apollo welcomed its first large class of agents, establishing a foundation for consistent annual recruitment to meet increasing client demand. This strategic approach to expansion has enabled Apollo to scale effectively while preserving the personalized service its clients value most.
